Director F. Gary Grey Fired From NWA Biopic

F. Gary Grey may not know it yet (that is, until now), but Hollywood insiders say once the movie director returns to the U.S. from Europe he’ll learn he’s been fired from directing the forth-coming NWA biopic. Sources reveal F. Gary Grey’s hiatus in Europe has forced production of “Straight Outta Compton” behind schedule. That’s why movie executives are reported to be cutting the director from the project, only to replace his with John Singleton. Don’t believe me.. Ask Jerry Heller. Here’s the drop: “F. Gary Grey is supposed to be in production with the movie NWA, but he’s in Europe partying. Grey is instagraming people from overseas, but no one told him yet that he’s fired from directing the NWA film. Every agency is saying this, so it’s gotta be true.”
