If Raven Symone has her way, Michelle Obama would serve as the official in charge of her gay wedding. Sources say the Cosby Kid wants to say her ‘I do’s’ to girlfriend, AzMarie Livingston, with the First Lady presiding over the event.
Symone first rubbed shoulders with the Obama’s following one of her recent “Sister Act” Broadway performances. That’s where the actress learned the First Family are fans of her work. Now, knowing the Obama’s stance on gay marriage, Symone wants none other than America’s leading black woman to help her tie the knot.

“Raven wants a big, splashy affair, and she really wants Michelle to officiate. Knowing how the Obamas have become firm believers in marriage equality, Raven didn’t hesitate to ask her reps to send a letter to Michelle asking if she’d get temporary credentials to legally marry AzMarie and her.
Raven wants nothing more than to marry her beautiful girlfriend. She’s hoping that because the Obama girls are such big fans that Michelle will agree to perform the ceremony – and maybe even use the event to promote the president’s stand on same-sex marriage.”
