“Jacky, BET executives are fighting. Stephen Hill wants Loretha’s job.
Stephen works out of New York and Loretha is based in L.A. and they hate each other. Loretha Jones is responsible for shows like ‘The Game’, ‘Let’s Stay Together’, and she also has up and coming sitcoms like ‘The Waynas Brothers’ and Kevin Hart’s ‘House Husbands’.
Loretha feels BET should do what ABC does when they broadcast award shows. For instance, if ABC is doing the Emmy Awards, the network would cast members of ‘Modern Family’ while using Jimmy Kimmel to present awards. This doesn’t happen over at BET,
Stephen Hill refuses to plug Loretha’s sitcoms and scripted shows to new viewers during his music specials like the BET Awards. Stephen will give shine to non relevant people like Don Simpson and Tigger on his music specials, while he should be promoting cast members from ‘Let’s Stay Together.’
Jacky, Stephen Hill wants Loretha Jones to fail, he already has written scripted shows and sitcoms to bring to the table. Stephen Hill and Loretha Jones are having a power struggle and Debra Lee is being unprofessional by staying out of it.”
